The Finance Commission met on 20 November 2017 at the General Curia in Rome for its second annual meeting. It was attended by Bro. Rudolf Knopp, Bursar General and Commission president, Brother Giampietro Luzzato, General Councillor, Brother Quim Erra, of the Aragon Province, Mr Adolf Inzinger of the Austrian Province, and Mr Pietro Cacciarelli, the Curia Generalizia accountant.

the Commission noted that the items in the financial statements for the year ending 30 June 2017, had remained within budget. The draft budget for 2018 had been presented to the Assembly of Major Superiors in October and the amount was essentially confirmed. The new financial questionnaires were proving to be extremely useful for monitoring the economic and financial state of the Order’s centres.

Finance Commission will hold its spring meetings on 17 April 2018, and its autumn meeting on 23 October 2018.
