Christmas at the General Curia

On Monday, 19 December, the Hospitaller Family of St John of God at the General Curia held their Christmas celebration a few days in advance.

It began with the celebration of Mass at which the Prior General, Brother Jesús Etayo, presided and who recalled the innumerable cases of poverty, marginalisation and suffering present in our world, to which we are called to respond by putting into practice the value of Hospitality which is what distinguishes us. He then thanked everyone for the work performed during the year, but above all for their commitment and dedication to the Order.

In the course of the ceremony, a number of Co-workers were rewarded for their 25 years of service (Klaus Mutschlechner and Augusto Fabbroni) and 20 years of service (Silvia Farina), for which they received a gift and the applause of everyone present.

The day of celebration ended with a fraternal supper with the Co-workers of the General Curia who had recently retired.
